Free H1N1 vaccination clinic for ALL JCCC students, employees to be Dec. 15 at JCCC
A free H1N1 vaccination clinic for ALL JCCC students, faculty and staff will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, in 155-156 COM (the north dining room and previous faculty lounge.)
Individuals in the following categories are considered to be priority groups and should seriously consider receiving the vaccine. However, the clinic is open to ALL JCCC students, faculty and staff.
- Pregnant women
- Persons who live with or provide regular care for infants less than six months of age (parents, siblings, daycare providers, etc.)
- Healthcare and emergency services personnel
- Persons six months through 24 years of age
- Persons 25 through 64 who have medical conditions that put them at higher risk for influenza-related complications
To minimize clinic time, everyone should complete the H1N1 Vaccine Consent Form in advance and bring it to the clinic site. Copies of the forms, in English and Spanish, can be found at www.jocoflu.org and at the Student Information Desk along with further information on influenza.
