Students begin video recording of trustee meetings on April 21; audio recording available later today
Students in the Advanced Broadcasting II and III classes started recording the board meetings on video at the April 21 board of trustees meeting.
This is a professional opportunity for the students, during which they’ll gain marketable experience using professional equipment. The video does not go out live. Once they’ve recorded the meeting, the students still need to edit the video to add name and title keys or to switch shots from one camera to the other. After that they’ll need to add captioning. Once it’s ready, the video will be posted online and will also be shown on the college’s cable channel.
An audio recording was also made of the meeting. It will be posted online later today, and a transcript will be available next week.
